Also, while L’Amour and Parade appear to be set in little French-speaking monarchies, Galaxia seems more like Brighton Beach, not all that far from where we lived at that time. Renoir were the reasons the main character was changed from French to Russian). The limited animation does hurt the impact of the gags, but there's nothing wrong with the script. One of the smartest things Famous Studios did in the 1950s was to move Spector into the story department.
