It’s Christmas !

- Steve Fisher sent me two ways to celebrate Christmas. Here are his photos:

1. The commercial

(Click any image to enlarge.)

2. The Non-commercial (though safety-proofed)

The funny thing about that last photo is that I shot a picture of it
a couple of days before they actually installed the creche.

By the way, they’ve added the baby Jesus today,
Christmas Day.

Merry Christmas

I’m glad to see that the baby Jesus finally arrived on the scene. What would Christmas be without him if not just another sale? Merry Christmas to all, commercial and otherwise.

    Michael,

Every year I appreciate your photos (and Steve Fisher’s) of the NYC at Christmas-time. Thanks and Merry Christmas !

(one of these days some smart person just has to be able to make a “Remove Chicken Wire” filter for Photoshop !)

The ball photos (and the sequencing) are great.

This is the same baby Jesus who was stolen to much consternation a few years back, isn’t it?

David, believe it or not there is a “rig removal” plugin I’ve used in AfterEffects which might work as the chicken wire retoucher.

As Poky and Herman the Skunk would sing…

“It’s Christmas and isn’t it great?
It’s Christmas and isn’t it swell?
    It’s Christmas,
    We’re sliding ‘cross the ice.
It’s nice to slide here so well.
    We’re having a ball!
    We’re having a party!”

Here’s hoping that Poky gets another boot this Christmas!

    Hi Michael!

Just saw “T’Was the Night” and was completely charmed. What a wonderful Christmas card you’ve created. I think viewing it is going to become an annual holiday tradition for me!

    Happy New Year!

Jane, Petey and Mica (who is still on the prowl for cheese!)

Jane, we had a GREAT time at your gathering. It really did start up the Christmas spirit for us. I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you for including us in with your troupe. Minka was a blast – an obsessed cat, if ever there was one. Cheese, cheese, cheese.
