Sorry, no service just now.

Until I get my service back from Verizon, I won’t be having much of a blog, so I’m sorry that it’ll be down for a while. They keep telling me, day to day, that it’ll be resolved today. But that hasn’t been happening in the past three weeks, and I’m still without my internet.

All I can ask is that you have a bit of patience; it’s taking all the patience I have to deal with it. That’s about all I know.

    Modern frustrations…are…
    so…
    unbelievably…
    frustrating!

My guess, from experience, is that the right hand doesn’t know what the rest of the hands are doing. By the “rest of the hands”, I mean the ones that are left.

Take care of other things, too. And, if possible, make something out of this crappy situation. Make it short and to the point. If it is possible to carve out the time to do anything at all, make something.

It is rare that I look at John K’s blog these days ( got out of the habit of looking for updates of interest). Over the weekend, I saw he put up some phone doodles.

There ya go. Document the inconvenience of trying to get this problem solved using pictures.

Best to you and know you have ample materials here from recent weeks.

I’m very saddened and disheartened by this news. Just know that your blog is on my top 10 favorite websites to visit on a daily basis. Your devotion to animation and fighting to maintain some integrity in the medium is what I admire most about you, Mr. Sporn, and that kind of attitude influences me and inspires me to try to make good cartoons.

A similar thing happened to me a few years back. I ultimately got in touch with NY State and they had it fixed the next day. Verizon also sent a $500 prepaid Visa card for my troubles.

    Squeaky wheels…

Haven’t seen it, and no intention to, but I’d like to hear your take on the Lone Ranger film making the er rounds…
