Animated Film Techniques

Here’s an old article from American Cinematographer Magazine. Published in 1958, it continued through four separate issues of the magazine. Written by Carl Fallberg, the article tries to detail the methods of animation production. Animated Film Techniques

    I wonder how many of those “poor girls” stuck in the corner of the smoke filled room with the stenotype actually used their position, as the writer of the one official document from the session that “no one can be expected to remember”, to quietly exert an influence on the proceedings, downplaying some ideas and pushing others, while the men in the room patted themselves on the back for their creativity…

    Come to think of it, that would make an interesting live action sit-com, wouldn’t it?
