Mickey Turns in Water

- Before we get into today’s posts, I have to remind you again
that today’s the last days of our

Kickstarter Campaign.

Anything you can offer to the POE Project would be appreciated.
Thanks for your support.

- Here’s another Preston Blair scene of Mickey, half under water, turning with some surprise. Of course, the scene is part of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice from Fantasia.

The following QT includes all the drawings posted above.

The registration is a bit loose. Sorry but, these are obviously
copies of copies and there’s plenty of shrinkage and distortion.

The house that Poe had in the Bronx is a Nat’l Historic Site, right? And, he lived elsewhere in NY, right?
It could be worthwhile to contact the NYHS to see what interest there may be in the project.

That crazy link is to the Raven Society. I’m sure that this group probably desires members and doesn’t exactly direct its membership to fund certain requests. However, it is probably worthwhile knowing it exists. And, they would be interested in this production, in its various stages, now, with the Kickstarter thing and later, given you are gonna make the film regardless of how this first attempt at a KS project goes.

It never hurts to spread the wings and to see where the feathers fall.

I have a soft spot in my heart for the UT of A. I should get it and the soft spot in my head looked at. That could be a serious problem.

Anyway, according to the Wikipedia, The Poe Collection there, including manuscripts, letters, works about him, a writing desk.

The UT-A has film, cartoon, comic book legacy and some animation connection going for it. I don’t know how else to say about it without writing too much and I don’t have time for that anyway. I guess the same goes for any other possible people or places you’d consider reaching out to.

    Best to ya.
