   I’m very sorry to hear this terrible news. Ruby was such a nice cat, and I always loved it when she would stay at my apartment. She was a great friend. I’ll miss you Ruby.

   Matt, if you only knew what a hero you were for me when we kept having all those floods in the studio and you protected Ruby at your apartment. It was one thing to worry about the studio getting drenched, it was quite another to worry about Ruby getting flooded.

   Dena and I send our condolences as well. She was a real sweety. You gave her a wonderful life and she will be missed. We’re sure she in a place that is filled with catnip, tuna, warm laps and plenty of cardboard boxes to explore.

   Michael,

   I was Ruby’s original owner. Reading what people are saying about how sweet she was is proof that you gave her just what she needed. Judging from the reports I’ve gotten on her through the years, she had a great and happy life with you, and I’m glad for that. Even after all this time, I feel like I miss her too.

   Ruby was so unhappy sharing her home with our other cats. I am so glad you were able to give her such a great life and allow her to be the queen that she needed to be. I heard she had many friends (especially the mailman). It pleases me to know she flourished in your care. Of course you will miss her.

    She looked a lot like both of our cats, Licorice and Sniffles (who is not named after the Chuck Jones creation).
