Wonderful, Michael.
The fish sequence has an absolutely astounding moment. You see six fish swimming about, heads heading toward the center, and then, in an instant, they all line-up, heads all but touching in the center, bodies straight back with tails spread. You no longer see six separate fish but one flower-like pattern with three-fold symmetry. And then the pattern breaks as the fish continue swimming and “break formation.” They are, once again, six separate entities.

Thanks for showing these beautiful layouts. Say what you will about “Fantasia”, to me there are moments of shear magnificence no other animated film has managed to top.
