P&W-Kimball Scene – 4

- Here’s part four of Ward Kimball‘s scene from Peter and the Wolf . The scene was loaned to me by John Canaemaker, and there are a lot of drawings. One more installment to come on these two hunters running. Then an addition of the little guy in the middle.

As with all other posts, I start with the last drawing from the last sequence.

It’s the little guy, on a separate level, that really makes this shot. He’s the variation and the contrast to the two big guys who pretty much act in unison.

Thank you for continuing to post these complete scenes. I know from experience how time-consuming and tedious it can be to scan and register the drawings (especially if the peg holes on the copies have faded or didn’t copy to begin with) . Your efforts are much appreciated.
